Wait a minute, isn't that...

Today I learned the unfortunate reality that Whoopi Goldberg has her own morning radio show. This surprised me on a few levels. First of all, hers is not necessarily a voice I'd like to wake up to 5 days a week. Second, I last saw Whoopi in the center square as Hollywood Squares croaked out its final breaths. Methinks a radio show is an upgrade, but I'm confused as to why she was able to upgrade given, three, I'm not certain anyone has really cared much for her artistic contributions since Sister Act.
