So Queen Elizabeth II is in Virginia to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Jamestown. YIPPIE!
The local news this morning had tips for how to act if you encounter the Queen, as if you're going to bump into her at Chipotle or something. Among their suggestions?
"You do not have to bow or curtsy. You may shake hands with the Queen but do not use a firm grip. The Queen likes a gentle touch." (Bown chika boump boump)
"If the Queen lingers, feel free to make small talk. Asking her about her grandchildren is always a good choice." (So, Mumsy, do you think Harry's going to get shot in Iraq?!?!)
"Be yourself. The Queen has been doing this for many years and is very adaptable." (Duh, did you see her in The Naked Gun?")
Enjoy your royal encounter!
